Skin Care Tips for Teenagers and Young Girls

As a girl grows, she becomes more and more conscious about her skin, hair and her looks altogether. Especially when entering the teenage. However, I encourage even the young angels between age 7 to 12 also to look after their skin and hair, because healthy skin and hair are important in every age of your life. You can't ignore your skin or hair just because you're too young. Mothers here can play a vital role and should take care of their child's skin and hair. But scented moisturizers, lotions and chemicals shouldn't be used at all for young kids.


Here we're going to share natural tips for your young ones to keep their skin healthy and shiny.


Let's talk about the skin first. A child's skin is smooth, nice to touch and glowing always. But that shouldn't mean it doesn't need any care. Their skin need more care so that it can be same like today even when they grow older they can enjoy the youthful skin and hair. Here are few tips which can help you maintain your child's fresh skin.


1. Like I always say, drink lot of water, in any form, plain water, juices, shakes whatever you like. Your skin and hair need moisture and they need water. Drink plenty of water daily to make sure that your skin and hair don't get dehydrated.


2. Clean your skin regularly. Whenever going out or getting back home, wash your face with not a soap but with baby face wash. Don't use too much of chemicals on your skin at this age. Maybe you should try Johnson’s Buddies Instant Foam Hand and Face Wash. Use lukewarm water to wash your skin.


3. Handle your skin gently. Do not rub or exfoliate too hard or too often. Do not apply too much of ingredients to your skin.


4. Do not use soap to wash your skin. Soap should always be used for the area below neck. Soap can dry your skin.


5. Good sleep is very essential for healthy skin. 8-10 hours sleep is essential for your overall health.


6. Avoid stress. Happiness is the key to success.

8. Bath with a lukewarm water and not with too hot or too cold water as it may damage your skin.


9. Eat lots of fruits, vegetables and salads. Try to use honey instead of sugar.


10. For a bright and scar free skin, apply mashed papaya on your face.


11. Apply lemon juice to your skin to even the skin tone. If you fear its effects on your skin, add few drops of rosewater. Never use it before going out, you can get a sunburn. Do not use if you've got cuts or scratches on your skin, it may make them worse. Wash your face well with lots of water and clear it all.


12. Grind oatmeal to make powder and mix little honey in it to make a paste. Apply this paste on your face and give it ten minutes. Rub gently with your fingers and wash away. Do not use before going out. You can use it before bedtime.


13. Honey is a good moisturizer for your skin. It can be a great help to even your skin tone. Do not use honey on your face if you've oily skin.


14. Mix whey of yogurt (the leftover water of yogurt) with few drops of lemon juice and apply on your skin. Wash after few minutes.


Exercise is also very important for your overall health. So drink lots of water, do exercise daily and beat the stress, you'll experience a wonderful glow in your life.
